Devotional Thought:
We often place limits on what God can do in our lives. Our prayers, though heartfelt, are sometimes small compared to the vastness of His power. We pray for provision, but He is able to provide abundance. We pray for healing, but He is able to bring restoration beyond what we thought possible. We pray for strength to endure, but He is able to give us victory.
Paul reminds us that God’s power is not just somewhere “out there,” but it is already at work within us. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in you (Romans 8:11). This means that when you feel weak, discouraged, or trapped by circumstances, you are not without hope. God is not bound by your imagination, your resources, or your understanding of how things should work out.
Instead of asking, “Can God really do this?” start declaring, “God is able, and His power is working in me.” He doesn’t just want to meet your needs—He wants to exceed them, shaping you into a living testimony of His grace.
